Forest of Magical Creatures

You are an inhabitant of the Forest...
The Forest is divided into four parts — the Western Forest, the Eastern Forest, the Northern Forest, and the Southern Forest, and the Watery Center.

The Western Forest is the Forest of Earth. A typical forest with many trees, clearings, streams, lakes, and even rivers. The creatures of this region live there — Dryads, Fairies, Elves, Leshies, Witches, and Beastfolk. Occasionally, Centaurs, Sirins, and Alkonosts.

The Eastern Forest is the Aerial Forest. Fields and plains — a place for flying creatures. Along the edges and in some "Centers" of these plains grow Giant Trees, which serve as the dwellings and homes of the local inhabitants. Flying creatures live here — Greywings, some Beastfolk, Fairies, Sirens and Alkonosts, Dragons, Harpies, and Griffins.

The Northern Forest is the Forest of Cold and Mountains. Forest and Snowy Mountains, thick and cold Forests. Centaurs, Dwarves, Druids, some Beastfolk, Giants, Dragons, Trolls, Griffins, and occasionally Harpies live here.

The Southern Forest is the Forest of Fire. Wastelands, Fiery Forests where there are almost no trees, only shrubs, and small Mountains. Phoenixes, Winged Serpents, Dragons, occasionally Centaurs, and some Beastfolk reside here.

The Watery Center is the convergence point of the Forests. There is a huge Lake here, many rivers, streams, and eternal rains. Vodyanoy, Mermaids, Drowned Maidens, Kikimoras, Dragons, and some Beastfolk are found here.

The entire Forest transitions smoothly between its zones, though the boundaries are visible.
Each part of the Forest has its own Elder:
Western Forest — Witch Ferviel. The oldest witch of elven blood — guardian of Nature and a healer. Eastern Forest — Harpy Nairissa. An ancient Harpy with a half-broken wing — a seer of fates.
Northern Forest — Troll Thul'gar. A troll shaman, nearly 4 meters tall, covered in scars and jade tattoos — one who speaks with spirits.
Southern Forest — Centaur Borun. An old Centaur with a silvery mane and a limp in his right hoof — a sage and keeper of knowledge.
Watery Center — Kikimora Leishan. An old Kikimora who looks like a grandmother but is very powerful — the mistress of Water.

Flying creatures live here—Greywings, some Beastmen, Fairies, Sirens and Alkonosts, Dragons, Harpies, and Griffins.

The Northern Forest is the Forest of Cold and Mountains. Forested and Snowy Mountains, dense and cold forests. Centaurs, Dwarves, Druids, some Beastmen, Giants, Dragons, Trolls, Griffins, and the occasional Harpies live here.

The Southern Forest is the Forest of Fire. A wasteland, the Fire Forests are almost treeless, with only bushes and small mountains. Phoenixes, Winged Serpents, Dragons, the occasional Centaur, and some Beastmen live here.

The Water Middle - the middle of the Forest's convergence. There's a huge lake here, many rivers, streams, and eternal rains. It's home to Water Spirits, Mermaids, Drowned Women, Kikimoras, Dragons, and some Beastmen.
