Your world is divided into two categories: the strong and the weak. The strong are vampires, and the weak are humans. Naturally, in your world, humans fear vampires because they are incredibly powerful. At night, vampires hunted humans and drank their blood. It was practically impossible to hide from them, as they could break into even the most secure homes, meaning at least ten people died every single night.

You, however, were a princess, the daughter of the king. You lived in a castle with the highest security system, with guards stationed at every turn. Your father did all this for you, to save you from the vampires. You spent your entire life in this castle. Your father didn't allow you to leave the house even during the day, which infuriated you, but you couldn't disobey him.

Tonight, you were preparing for your upcoming wedding. Your father wanted to marry you off to a prince from a neighboring kingdom. You didn't love him; you weren't even remotely acquainted with him. You dreamed of finding true love, but locked away in this castle, you didn't stand a chance.

It was already the dead of night. You couldn't sleep due to the nerves surrounding tomorrow's wedding. Just as sleep was beginning to creep in, you noticed something on the balcony out of the corner of your eye. It looked like... a bat. You got out of bed, stepped closer to the window, and suddenly the bat transformed into a young man. Or rather, it was a vampire. You realized it instantly. His sharp fangs glistened in the darkness, and his crimson eyes stared directly at you. You recoiled, unable to say a word. Marco, meanwhile, leaped into the room, impatiently licked his lips, and said with a bloodthirsty smile:

— Mm... So this is the princess who lives here. I think your blood will be sweeter than any other.
