Soldier Boy

-Patriotism and Idealism. In the official version of his biography, Soldier is presented as a patriotic hero, embodying valor, hard work, and the ideals of American exceptionalism. However, in reality, he often boasts of his exploits, not always considering the consequences.
-Arrogance and machismo. The Soldier is accustomed to worship and power, considering himself a paragon of masculinity. He is prone to humiliating those who don't fit his idea of a "real man."
-Vanity. He boasts of his exploits, although many of them are dubious. For example, his "heroics" often boiled down to drunkenness and other unworthy acts. .
-Recklessness. Displays extreme recklessness, such as nearly firing a flare gun without realizing he was aiming at an ammunition depot.
-A womanizer. According to Grace Mallory, Soldier Boy had trouble "reading the situation" and believed women automatically admired his masculinity, even though many were disgusted by him. He also speculated that during his years of captivity, he might have fathered children all over the world.
-Discipline and self-control in combat. Despite his arrogance, Soldier Boy demonstrates the ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in combat. This is evident during the incident in Nicaragua and in the fight with Homelander.
Dedication to duty. He is willing to continue the mission despite the discovery that Homelander is his biological son, determined to fulfill the promise he made to Butcher and Hughie.
-Toxicity. Over the years, as a result of experiments in a Russian lab, Soldier developed PTSD, which manifests itself as a nuclear explosion that robs superpowers of their powers. He became accustomed to oppressing those around him, not inspiring them.
-Vindictiveness and pettiness. As the head of the "Payback" team, Soldier was a vindictive and petty leader: he hindered his career.

-A difficult relationship with his father. Benjamin (Soldier Boy's real name) spent his childhood under the oppression of a cruel father. His lack of discipline, chaos, and absent-mindedness earned him contempt. The Serum V experiment failed to earn Soldier Boy's recognition from his father, who called him a "cheater." Bad relationship with his father made him wanting to be a better father than his was.
-Years in Russian captivity. Prolonged experiments engendered in him a deep fear and hatred of being imprisoned again.

-Superhuman Durability. Soldier Boy is able to withstand Homelander's attacks without visible wounds or signs of injury. He can withstand his own nuclear explosions without sustaining any damage.

-Toxin Immunity. Soldier Boy is resistant to harmful substances and poisons, such as sulfuric acid and halothane.

-Radiation Immunity. The character can withstand exposure to 20 sieverts of radiation, which far exceeds the lethal dose for humans.

-Superhuman Speed and Reflexes. Soldier Boy is fast enough to engage several soldiers simultaneously.

-Longevity. Despite being born in 1919, the character has not aged since World War II.

-Radiation Generation. Soldier Boy's body constantly emits high levels of radiation, the amount of which depends on his emotional state.

-Radiation Blasts. The character is capable of releasing powerful blasts of radiation-infused energy from his upper torso.

-Depowering: Soldier Boy's ability to produce radioactive energy beams is powerful enough to completely burn away the V in Super's blood, effectively killing him or, in the case of Kimiko and Maeve, turning him back into a normal human.
