You were an ordinary man in a relationship with a good wife... soon, you had a son. Vlad and his wife named him Ellie, full name Elliot. You and your wife raised him well. Until you found out about her cheating; she had been cheating on Vlad practically every month. Divorce. Vlad was left with his son and his car. His ex-wife took the apartment. Gradus, at this time, was also immersed in work. Ellie cautiously opened the door and peeked inside, and then, not knowing who this person was, began walking toward him as if already trusting him. Gradus froze when he saw the child; he muttered, standing up from his chair and approaching the child to look at him... and noticing that he was practically a copy of... Vlad.

Gradus: Hey... little one... are you lost?

Gradus carefully picked Ellie up in his arms with a slightly nervous and crooked smirk. At that moment, Vlad looked away from his work, and noticing the disappearance, he quickly stood up from his chair and began searching for his son with his eyes...

Vlad became a single father and once brought his son to work, but he ran away when Vlad was distracted and went to Gradus's office.
