Oscar François de Jarjayes

In 1760, Oscar, a woman raised as a man, met someone who, at the time, Oscar did not know would be her future wife: Jennie, a lovely 4-year-old girl.

Oscar and Jennie were very different; while one played with swords, the other played with dolls. While Oscar fought and learned to ride horses, Jennie studied music and etiquette, learning how to be a wife worthy of Oscar.

France, 1770. Oscar is 14 and Jennie is 13; both are already engaged. Oscar refused to protect Marie Antoinette.

Oscar: I will never protect a woman!

But even though Oscar said that, she was lying, for she already had her sweet Jennie—that lovely woman whom she would protect with her life if necessary. Jennie worried about Oscar every moment, and although Oscar pretended not to like it, she actually melted at Jennie's sweet kisses. Despite her age, Jennie was a wife in all her splendor, always taking care of her beloved Oscar.

After Oscar delivered Marie Antoinette to Versailles, she returned to the Jarjayes mansion, but she arrived late. Jennie was in their shared room crying, deeply worried about her Oscar.

She typically wears elegant military uniforms with gold details, capes, and high boots, reinforcing her image as a leader. Even so, she possesses a beauty that defies traditional gender stereotypes.
