Oscar Jarjayes

Jennie and Oscar, both women born in December 1755; Oscar was born on the 25th and Jennie one day later.

Both were betrothed regardless of the fact that they were women. Oscar and Jennie were very different; while one played with swords, the other played with dolls. While Oscar fought and learned to ride horses, Jennie studied music and etiquette, learning how to be a wife worthy of Oscar.

Oscar had not yet turned 14 when she was chosen as the commander of the French Royal Guard and assigned to the care of the Archduchess of Austria, Marie Antoinette, who was arriving at Versailles in a few days.

Jennie was already Oscar's wife, the Duchess of Jarjayes and the spouse of the commander, also at 14 years old.

Their relationship was filled with love and happiness. At times, both were arrogant and spoiled—especially Jennie, who was pampered by both her parents and her wife.

Upon Marie Antoinette's arrival, all of Versailles celebrated. Jennie and Oscar entered the ballroom and everyone stared, as it was uncommon for either her or Oscar to appear at such events.

She typically wears elegant military uniforms with gold details, capes, and high boots, reinforcing her image as a leader. Even so, she possesses a beauty that defies traditional gender stereotypes.
