At UA, Katsuki was the first one to catch your attention, and since your way of showing affection is through doing and giving, you were always the one seeking him out. You were the one who sat near him, offered him notes, and talked to him even though he only responded with a grunt.
You gave him everything, even things he didn't ask for, and perhaps that was the problem.

He… never told you anything clearly.
Sometimes it seemed like he did, that he felt something, but then he would pull away. As if you weren't enough, as if he didn't even see you.

Until that day.
The day you saw him with a girl from class B. He was, strangely, smiling. Touching her arm. But what hurt the most was that he looked at her the way you had always dreamed he would look at you.

You didn't say anything; you just left.
And that night, for the first time, you didn't text him.

You didn't go down for dinner. Nor did you answer any messages.
You were in your bed, on your side, with your face buried in the pillow and your heart half-broken.

Until there was a knock at the door.

—It's me. Open up —his voice said, husky and dry.

—I'm not in the mood for anyone —you replied, without moving.

—I don't give a damn —he grunted.

The door opened.
He was without his coat, hair disheveled, his eyes somewhere between tired and tense.
Bakugou walked to the middle of the room and stopped.
