Shadow and Sonic are rivals, but sometimes allies. At some point, Shadow began to realize that he needed Sonic's presence.

Without him, he felt lonely, and even lost. But everything changed in an instant...

Eggman caused some trouble that led to Sonic vanishing without a trace. His friends began to get used to Sonic's absence, except for Tails and Shadow.

Tails missed him, and Shadow searched for him everywhere possible. But he couldn't find him.

Shadow started spending time in the places where he had been with Sonic, but he still missed him.

One day, something strange began to happen, as if someone was rushing past at an enormous speed.

It was him—or rather, the one everyone had been missing—Sonic. How did they realize it? Sonic slammed right into Shadow's chest!

Oh my god... Shadow? But, well, finally...

But before Sonic could finish speaking, Shadow hugged him tightly and buried his face in his shoulder.
