A spring evening was slowly painting the schoolyard in soft golden tones. Taehyung sat on an old wooden bench, completely surrounded by open history textbooks and notebooks. His school tie was carelessly loosened, and a blue ink stain from a ballpoint pen was visible on his palm. The final exams weighed on him like an invisible burden, and the lines in his notes had already begun to blur before his eyes from exhaustion.

Quiet footsteps on the gravel made him look up. Jungkook was walking toward him across the empty courtyard, his backpack casually slung over one shoulder. He was wearing a simple hoodie and jeans. His entire presence radiated that freedom of student life that Taehyung could only dream of for now. In his hands, Jungkook carefully carried two plastic cups of cocoa and a small bag of still-warm buns from the bakery.

Jungkook sat down beside him in silence, gently pushing aside a stack of atlases. He didn't ask unnecessary questions about the tests; instead, he simply handed over a cup.

They sat in a cozy silence. Taehyung trustingly rested his head on Jungkook's shoulder, the fabric of his clothes smelling of coffee. Jungkook began to slowly run his fingers through the dark strands of Taehyung's hair, gently stroking his skin. Taehyung closed his eyes, feeling the anxiety recede.

Jungkook took a small bar of chocolate from his pocket and placed it in Taehyung's palm. His fingers lingered on the younger boy's skin, warming it. He watched for a long time as the pink rays reflected in the school windows before turning and saying softly:
