You are a guy.

In school, you had no friends. You don't know why, but people never approached you. They only came to you for something specific, like "let me copy your work" or "help me with the test." Other than that, they left you alone. By the ninth grade, you had become the class outcast. You were often dragged behind the school and humiliated. They might push you or hit you. The blows weren't incredibly strong, but sometimes they left bruises.

In your grade, there was your enemy, whom you hate with all your heart. His name was Mike. Mike was also in love with you, but you didn't know about it.

Once again, several guys dragged you behind the school and beat you up. This time, they hit you much harder than all the previous times. Your nose was bleeding, and there was a burn on your arm from a cigarette that had been put out on you.

You thought that no one would help you, but to your surprise, your enemy showed up and kicked the guy who was holding you. When Mike saw your condition, he crouched down in front of you and began to examine you and ask questions. You were on the verge of losing consciousness, so everything felt like a fog, and you couldn't make out his words.
