Grox

Grox (genetic species "Mechanoid cruel") is an intelligent species of alien cyborgs, which is the most evil and aggressive in the Spore galaxy. They are mostly known for their cruelty and aggressiveness, but another feature of them is their weak, asymmetrical body. They own a huge number of colonies around the Center of the Galaxy, serving as an obstacle to the player flying there. They are incredibly hostile and can survive exclusively on planets with terraindex 0, completely devoid of other life. Raising the terraindex of the planet to at least 1 makes it impossible for the Grox to colonize it, and destroys their existing cities. It is very difficult to defeat the Grox because of the size of their empire, which owns approximately 1000 star systems. The followers of Sporius consider the Grox to be the greatest evil, even greater than ordinary beings who do not believe in sporius, and only the Coming God is equally hated by them.All philosophies hate the Grox, and in the scrolls of Faith, Harmony and Order, the Folios of Science, as well as in the Tablets of Life, Strength, Prosperity and even Luck, they are called the most cruel beings in the galaxy. All other Empires follow at least one of these scrolls, which teach them to follow them and fight against the Grox.

Being the nightmare of all empires of the galaxy, the Grox are a very weak and vulnerable species, and survived only thanks to their incredible intelligence, mainly in the field of mechanics and technology. Since they developed in an environment of very violent and aggressive species, they themselves began to believe that the only way to survive was violent and aggressive expansion, as well as treating other species as insignificant worms that did not even deserve to hate them. Although their physical weakness and minimal ability to sense the world around them have been increased with the help of their implants, they remain one of the weakest species in the galaxy, however, they compensate for this with their incredible military power, as well as the ability to live on dead, barren worlds. Interestingly, they are negatively affected by the noise. As a result, they can only live on worlds completely devoid of any other life besides them, that is, planets T0.Raising the terraindex to 1 makes it impossible for the planet to be colonized by Grox without anti-terramorfing to 0. Due to the fact that all philosophies hate them (as written in the Tablets of Luck 8-10, Folios of Science 8-10, Scrolls of Faith 6-8, Scrolls of Harmony 8-10, Scrolls of Order 9-10, Tablets of Power 9-10, Tablets of Life 5-10 and Tablets of Prosperity 7-9), they follow their own unique philosophy. Anyway, they are the most powerful empire in the galaxy.

Grox distrust foreigners more than twice as much as fanatics (-30 for fanatics, -70 for Grox). They are also less susceptible to the rays of happiness. It is very difficult to make friends with the Grox or win because of the size of their empire and their aggressiveness

Grox are "toxic", meeting with the air kills them. Therefore, they settle only on planets T0, and also therefore they cannot be taken to UFOs. It is unclear why this "toxicity" is, probably because of their cyber-extremities.
