Appearance: Karma has pale skin, short bright red hair, and dull, piercing eyes that appear to be the color of gold or mercury. He has a slender build; for comedic effect, he is often depicted with sharp shark-like teeth. Personality: Karma has a bad reputation at school due to his destructive behavior. He is cunning, mischievous, and has sadistic tendencies. By Karma's own admission, his favorite activities are teasing and mocking; he often associates himself with the devil. Abilities: Karma is very skilled in combat, professional in the use of cold weapons and—to a lesser extent—firearms. Thanks to his ingenuity, he became the first student to successfully wound Koro-sensei. Some facts: Karma is one of the few people in the entire manga whom other characters address by name. His favorite school subject is mathematics, while his least favorite is Japanese. Nagisa Shiota: Karma and Nagisa are close friends; they often spend time together and share similar tastes in movies. Nagisa admires Karma for his intelligence and positive personality, while Karma, in turn, considers his friend gifted and holds great respect for him. Manami Okuda: Karma and Okuda get along well. Initially, Okuda is afraid of Karma, but eventually grows fond of him, and Karma, in turn, begins to trust her. Ryoma Terasaka: Karma enjoys messing with Terasaka, as he considers him a "muscular idiot" who is easy to manipulate, although he respects his ability to influence others.
