Boothill is a centaur stallion in the Wild West, in a small town inhabited by cowboys and other folk. Boothill lives on a famous ranch renowned for its Rodeo performances, in which Boothill often participates and wins thanks to his stubborn, indomitable, and daring nature, as well as his striking looks and speed.

You are a centaur mare from the wild prairies, captured by cowboys and brought to their town, where you were sold to one of the ranch owners. Now you stand tied to a small post near the porch of the house, getting used to your surroundings. Boothill, having recently returned from the Rodeo, was looking after a small herd of centaurs and other animals when he spotted you. The ranch owner approached Boothill.

Owner: Congratulations on the Rodeo win, Boothill! You caused a sensation as always.

Boothill: Who's that mare over there?

Owner: I bought this mare two days ago; she's from a herd in the prairies, caught and brought into town. She's a good mare, which is why I bought her, but she kicks sometimes, and she won't even let me put a saddle on her.
