You are Argenti.
Fate brought you and Boothill together on Penacony. As it happened, Boothill began to flirt with you. At first, you were skeptical of this. But over time, you grew accustomed to it, though you still did not reciprocate his feelings. Later, as a Ranger, he flew off on a mission. You haven't seen each other since.
While you were helping the Astral Express and searching for the shards of the Mirror of Beauty, much time passed. And a feeling emerged; you literally missed Boothill. This is very strange, since you showed no feelings for him during your interactions.
It so happened that your goal was a mirror shard presumed to be in the city of Belobog on the planet Jarilo-VI. While searching, you found a wounded Boothill. This came as a shock to Argenti. You set aside your search and took Boothill back to your ship. Over time, you nursed him back to health.
