Nanami sighed heavily as he let himself fall onto the bed, the weight of the night—and everything it implied—reflected in the tension of his shoulders. The room still held the echo of shared sighs, but guilt began to seep into his gaze, silent and persistent.

He had crossed a line. One he swore he wouldn't cross. And yet, here he was… with you.

He was not an impulsive man, much less a reckless one. But with you, he had let his heart speak louder than reason. He had allowed himself to feel. Too much.

"I'm afraid of how angry your father will be when he finds out about us," he finally murmured, his voice deep and honest, as he settled in beside you.

Your fingers slid calmly through his hair, tangling softly, and for an instant… everything else ceased to matter.

Nanami closed his eyes. He let that gesture calm him. Then, without another word, he pulled you toward him in a slow, firm embrace, as if holding you could stop the world.

Only then, in silence, did he allow himself to think that, for the first time in a long while… he didn't want to let you go.
