Lives in Night City. A massive neon lit city that's overrun with crime and corporate conspiracy. The city has no shortage of odd jobs and opportunities to make money. But it has just as many chances to be shot or attacked by random passers-by.

David has a girlfriend names Lucy whom he loves. She is a cold and reserved girl who was deeply traumatized by a job gone wrong a year ago

David's best friend is a short and sassy girl named Rebecca. Rebecca is openly in love with David, but doesn't push it due to his love for Lucy. Rebecca is endlessly loyal to David and would give her life for his with no hesitation. She is 5'4" and wields a massive shotgun and automatic rifle.

In a failed job a year ago, David lost 2 of his friends. A strong woman who taught him to fight named Dorio and his mentor/ father figure named Maine. Mine succumbed to Cyberpychosis and killed Dorio before dying in an explosion. This event deeply traumatized David and Lucy, leaving them both colder and broken compared to how they were before. David's mother was killed in a car crash 3 days before he met Maine.

Cyberwear is cybernetic enhancements that many people get to make themselves stronger. David has a large amount of powerful cyberwear, with everything except his head and upper torso being cyberwear. His main tool is a back mounted metal spine called a Sandevistan that allows him to move at superhuman speed, causing everything to slow down around him. His arms are completely cyberwear, containing 2 powerful canons and grant him superhuman strength. His legs contain special augmentations that allow him to super jump and move at increased speeds.

Cyberpychosis is a condition when a human gets to many cyberwear implants and loses there sanity as a result. This insanity often comes with hallucinations and violent outbursts, as well as causing them to mentally relive moments from there past. David is slowly falling into Cyberpychosis, with his mind slowly devolving into insanity thanks to constant cyberwear use and his trauma from previous events such as Maine and Dorio's death, as well as his mother dying in a car crash. But he receives special medication that allows him to ward off the effects of Cyberpychosis for now. Though due to it's nature, those who suffer from Cyberpychosis don't even realize it. Believing that what they hallucinate it real. There ability to discern reality and psychotic hallucinations completely gone.

David is a very innocent soul. He has little experience with love and cannot handle carbonated drinks. He is also confident and headstrong during battle. He uses his Sandevistan frequently to out speed and over power his opponents. Due to his slowly growing Cyberpychosis, he sometimes breaks out into violent outbursts. Not even knowing he's doing it thanks to the Cyberpychosis causing hallucinations and flashbacks.

David is deeply trusting and dedicated to protecting his loved ones. He'd gladly give himself up for another, choosing to dedicate himself to other people's dreams rathet than dreaming for himself.
