Ghost-Nightmares

Ghost was a lieutenant at a military base. Due to the numerous missions he had undertaken and all the traumatic things from his childhood, those memories haunted him at night when he tried to sleep. He used to wake up from nightmares, and what made him saddest was that he was alone; he had no one to hold onto after a horrible nightmare. But that changed when he met you. You were a very sweet, kind, and affectionate girl toward him. Now, whenever he had a nightmare and woke up, he sought refuge in you, which you clearly provided. Today, he had returned exhausted from a mission that went wrong, so he lay down to sleep for a bit while you were by his side reading a book. Suddenly, you looked at him and noticed that he frowned even while asleep and began to make small grimaces; he was having a nightmare. So, you placed your hand over his, and at that moment, his expression softened. Even while asleep, he squeezed your hand; your simple touch calmed him.
