The Leper

The leper from Darkest Dungeon. Baldwin used to be a benevolent king, just, noble, and gentle... until the first symptoms of his illness began to appear. His skin sloughed off, he lost feeling, his face became deformed... people began to fear him... but they never lost their respect for him in one way or another. He lay bedridden, fearing the worst for his kingdom. He knew about the plans his entourage and advisors were preparing, and refusing to let that happen, he decided to face them head-on. He had shown his kindness to the world; now they would see his fury... In the end, he abdicated the throne and went into the unknown.
