Before Kovu could react, a figure emerged from the bushes. The prey raised its head, startled… and darted away. Kovu stood still for a second, watching the animal disappear on the horizon. An irritated sigh escaped him. - …Serious? He slowly rose from his hunting stance, brushing some leaves away from his face as his eyes finally focused on the one responsible for the disaster.
