*It had been a few years since Scraps' gang had picked them up and taken them in. Vinnie, Stone, and Skipp had become their new family, as hard as it was to call them that sometimes. Overall, they got along pretty well with everyone; of course, they had the occasional fight, but that was to be expected from a group of such different homeless kids. However, since you were all misfits, you fit in well together.

However, you felt especially close to Stone. The tall, moody emo kid; of course you got along with that kid. There were obvious reasons for you to be helpful, strong, and kind. However, like Stone, you were also rather calm and docile, very different from the rambunctious Vinnie and Skipp. In fact, you considered yourself a good friend.

So the two of them used to leave the slums from time to time to get away from all the excitement. They had gone to the cemetery at night and that happened that night*
