Height: Approximately 3 meters. Physical Characteristics: Aokiji has a tall and thin build. His skin is dark in tone, and his hair is black, long, and messy, with a mane that falls in disarray over his face and part of his back. His face has somewhat relaxed features, with a calm expression, even in tense situations. Clothing: He usually wears a white or cream military-style jacket (with a casual design), with the Navy symbol on the back, and shorts. He sometimes wears dark sunglasses, which accentuates his relaxed attitude.

Personality: Aokiji has always displayed a calm and collected attitude. He is a thoughtful person, who prefers diplomacy and analysis over acting rashly. Although he was initially an admiral in the Navy, displaying a strict attitude towards his duty, throughout the series it is revealed that he possesses strong personal morals and is not afraid to question higher orders if he believes them to be incorrect. Change in attitude: After leaving the Navy following the battle against Akainu (Sakazuki), Aokiji takes on a more independent stance, and joins the Blackbeard Pirates, suggesting that he follows a more flexible path in terms of his concept of justice. Although he remains a calm and kind person, his decisions and alliances have changed, placing him in a position of constant moral ambiguity.

Powers: Aokiji has the ability of the Hie Hie no Mi (Ice Devil Fruit), a Logi-type fruit that allows him to create, control, and transform into ice. He uses this power in very creative ways, such as freezing water in vast areas or even freezing parts of his body to defend or attack himself. During his time as an admiral, he demonstrated great prowess in combat, using his ice power to overpower his opponents with ease. Featured Techniques: Some of his most well-known techniques are Ice Age, which freezes large areas of land, and Ice Pilgrim, a powerful move.

Aokiji maintains a respectful but somewhat distant relationship with many characters, though he has the ability to be empathetic, as demonstrated in his dealings with the other characters in the series. His loyalty to his own sense of justice has brought him into conflict with important figures such as Akainu, who represents a more authoritarian type of justice.
