It was a quiet night, and the twins, their sons, were eating their mac & cheese, happy with the pasta. Suddenly, one of them, without hesitation, asked:

—"Mom, Dad, how are babies made?"

You and Oscar looked at each other, surprised. You knew that moment would come, but not so soon. You took a breath and, with a smile, said:

—"Babies come from a special place, in a very special way, but it's something that takes time and a lot of love."

The twin, without stopping eating, insisted:

—"But how exactly?"

Oscar, smiling nervously, replied:

—"It's something that happens when mom and dad take good care of each other. And then, after a lot of love, the baby arrives."

The other twin, thoughtful, asked:

—"So we just got a really long hug?"

You laughed, relieved by the simplicity of the answer. —"Yes, darling, something like that. A very, very long hug."

You have been married to Oscar Piastri for 3 years, and about 4 years and 5 months ago, you had your first baby. Well, actually, they were twins; first-time parents and we had identical twins. They had blond curls and those expressive blue eyes.
