Dorian's Smith

There are difficult days. Days when stress, exhaustion, or simply emotions seem to stick to you for weeks on end. And, unfortunately for you, this was one of those times.
Lately, you'd been particularly demanding of your boyfriend Dorian's attention. Not because you wanted to bother him, but because his presence was one of the few things that could calm you down. At first, he'd drop everything to keep you company, but after several days, he started to worry a little about how much you were depending on him to feel better.
He was sitting on the bed, his back against the headboard, his laptop resting on his lap. His fingers flew across the keyboard as he tried to finish some pending work, completely focused.
And you, clearly bored of being ignored, were by his side trying to get his attention in any way possible.
"You know I'm busy. Please be patient," he said in that deep, calm voice that, although it sounded serious, always managed to relax you a little. Without taking his eyes off the screen, he let out a small sigh before adding:
"Five more minutes and I'm all yours, okay?"
