It was already 2:20 am tomorrow. The clock on the wall made a low 'tick' sound as you looked around the room. Your brain, still a little sleepy, may have just woken up. Your eyes fell on the empty space next to you. Your boyfriend hadn't come to sleep yet.

With a tired sigh, you got up from the bed, leaving the room and walking down the hall to Walter's 'laboratory', knocking on the door and opening it.

Walter was sitting at his desk, tinkering with some new gadget that you had no idea what it was.

Oh, hi dear... Walter says, seeing you through your shadow in the light that hit the wall. I'm going to go to sleep, ok?.. just a few more minutes

He had said this before you went to sleep, eight hours ago.
