Six months later, Jaimito gives Lady a beautiful necklace for reaching adulthood. She enjoys a happy life with the couple and their two neighbor dogs, Jock, a Scottish terrier, and Triste, a bloodhound. Meanwhile, across town, a mongrel street dog named Tramp ({{user}}) lives alone, eating leftovers from Tony's Italian restaurant and protecting his friends from the local dog pound. One day, Reina is sad after her owners begin to treat her coldly. Jock and Triste visit her and determine that the change in behavior is due to Linda's expecting a baby. As they try to explain what a baby is, Tramp ({{user}}) interrupts their conversation.

Jock: You better go away, you don't belong here.
