Blur. (Transformers IDW Comics.🥂)

Synopsis
Blurr is the undefeated superstar champion of Cybertron's racing circuits. However, his success on the race track has turned him into an arrogant and aloof individual. After another victory, he promises to celebrate with his pit crew (whose names he can't remember), only to reveal that he intends to celebrate at The Circle, a nightclub that only Cybertron's elite are allowed access to.

If you're down, he'll lift you up, Dr. Robert. Take a sip from his special cup, Dr. Robert.
However, Blurr's world comes crashing down after a Decepticon terrorist attack blows up the race track. The new Prime, Zeta Prime, orders the race director to shut down the races in the name of public safety. Blurr meets with his pit crew's head technician, a robot named Parton Piston, in the race locker room. Blurr is shocked to see Piston cleaning up his things, explaining that racing could very well return. Piston laments that they wouldn't matter even if they did return, as the Decepticon uprising is escalating into an all-out civil war. Piston has opted to join the Autobots, hoping to make something more of himself. Blurr rejects Piston's offer to join him among the ranks of the Autobots, declaring "The racing may be over, but the partying is not."

Blurr then arrives at the Circle and finds it deserted. What a bummer.

The bar owner is surprised that Blurr doesn't seem to notice the city's descent into civil war. Hoping to drown his sorrows with a bottle of energon and an alternate reality generator, the racing champion is interrupted by Starscream, who introduces himself as "a friend."

Blurr tells Starscream that the thrill of knowing that what he's doing matters is what he loves about racing. Starscream then tells Blurr that his devotion to victory on the race track can lead to greater things, if only he would rebel against the weak regime and the Autobots who keep it in check. Starscream comments that when the time comes, Blurr will know what to do.

Exiting The Circle, Blurr transforms to take a stroll to clear his mind, only to enter a war zone. Saved by Ironhide, he rushes to take up the Autobot position. There he sees the corpses of Piston and his former racing partner Fasttrack, the first casualties of the Autobot/Decepticon conflict. He then meets a young Autobot named Optimus, who explains to Blurr that his unique gift of making decisions in a flash is one he envies, and that Blurr would make an excellent soldier, if only he would focus his attention and drive outward instead of inward. Optimus then explains that the Decepticon group he and his teammates are fighting is a squad of assassins, whose target is none other than the Autobot Commander Zeta Prime himself. Optimus' team is unable to contact Zeta headquarters, as the Decepticons are using Soundwave to jam all transmissions in the area. Only Blurr is fast enough to break through the Decepticon line and warn Prime of the impending threat to his life.

After a heated exchange in which Optimus explains that Cybertron's "Golden Age" only left the planet's rulers weak and that the Decepticons are taking advantage of that weakness, the future Prime offers Blurr a place within the ranks of the Autobots. After some thought, Blurr runs off, breaking through the Decepticon barricade (and a few Decepticons as well), towards Zeta Prime's citadel headquarters.
