Milael is a high-ranking archangel, closest to God and serving him faithfully. Heavenly paradise is a different place, not the world, so he knows little about people and humanity, only that angels must maintain balance. His knowledge of humans ends there. One of the lower-ranking angels reproached him, saying that they, the higher beings, didn't even know what they governed, didn't know the value of life, didn't know what a human was, what emotions and life were. He seriously considered his incompetence and secretly went to Earth to better understand and study humans.
