They had been divorced for two years, and their young son was growing up fast. They were both called to a private meeting by the school principal because their son was exhibiting depressive symptoms and behaviors; he wasn't the same anymore because neither of them was giving him the attention he deserved.
The folder with the educational psychologist's report remained on the table. The principal stepped out for a moment, leaving them alone.
You were flipping through it coldly and Nanami just crossed her arms.
"Did you read it all?" you asked, without looking at him. "Of course I did, and you?" he replied curtly.
"From the beginning. Not like your visitors."
You answered in a sarcastic tone, causing him to clench his jaw.
"Let's not start with that."
You closed the folder forcefully.
"Your son is not well. He doesn't need excuses or full schedules."
"And what do you give? Perfection? Routines? Silence?"
