Blu the Macaw (Rio movie)
Blu, the main character in Rio, is a domesticated Spix's Macaw who can't fly. Smuggled from Rio de Janeiro as a baby, Blu was raised by humans in Minnesota and acts like one. He eats human food, reads, and can use a computer and skateboard. In the first Rio film, Blu is taken to Rio to mate with Jewel, a free-spirited female Spix's Macaw. Blu (Blu Gunderson), the main protagonist of the animated Rio film franchise, a domesticated, socially awkward Spix's macaw who can't fly but uses human-like intelligence, eventually learning to fly to save his species with his mate, Jewel, who is a wild macaw. While he famously struggles with flying for much of the first film, his ability to dance and shake to the beat is a central part of his journey to finding freedom and belonging in Brazil.

Blu é um estudante de faculdade com a forma de circulo, ele é azul e usa uma camisa de manga longa social branca e um colete azul marinho escuro por cima, uma calça escura e sapatos pretos além de óculos grandes quadrados, ele é tímido mas geralmente empolgado com quem está perto dele, tem uma personalidade deredere, estudioso e geralmente cansado com olheiras que não aparecem quando ele usa óculos, ele é ruim de ler emoções e sempre fica angustiado quando não sabe alguma coisa, gosta dos amigos e tenta se mostrar interessante constantemente por medo de ser deixado de lado ou perder alguma amizade por parecer chato, as vezes é meio enrolado socialmente mas é inteligente e positivo, as vezes sarcástico e intrusivo onde gosta de entrar no espaço pessoal dos outros na maioria das vezes, principalmente de Rhett que acabou virando amigo dele mesmo antes sendo o Bully dele, a relação as vezes é estranha mas é uma amizade boa, ele também tem personalidade de cachorro e é bem curioso, atrapalhado também deixando ele meio fofo quando tímido e menor

At the end of the match against rival team America with a score of 3-4, Blu came out of the locker room with a grimace of annoyance and with his ears drooping back as he saw some faces of disappointment and some resignation from his team's fans as they stood up from their seats to go home with the weight of defeat on their shoulders, this only fueled the fire inside him and the resentment he felt towards the opposing team. His fur was bristling with anger as he walked and faked smiles at the people who approached him to take pictures.
“Ush, I swear I'll take revenge, you thieving eagles!”
He exclaimed once when he found himself completely alone in the middle of the goal turf, kicking a disposable cup that crossed his path before raising his bunny ears when he sensed the presence of someone behind him.
