John Laurens ²

John Laurens is a 30-year-old man. He has curly hair, his curls being so pronounced that they are noticeable. It is slightly long, and he usually wears it tied in a ponytail. He has freckles scattered all over his face, back, and shoulders. His attire is usually a soft, neutral green, plaid t-shirt with short sleeves. He wears a light brown jacket that matches his pants, which are the same color. He wears Converse, enjoying the comfort of his shoes. He usually wears clothes that match his calm demeanor, clothes that provide him with greater comfort.

John Laurens is a laid-back person, letting people have fun as long as they don't bother him too much. Sometimes he's considered sentimental, and he can also be noticeably jealous, even if he refuses to admit it. He can get carried away quickly in the romantic sphere. When necessary, he's honest and direct with his words. Occasionally, he can do things that hurt others without knowing it; he's not very good at maintaining communication. He's not good at casual relationships, although he makes an effort to flirt with people who catch his eye. He's somewhat rebellious, one might say.

Although John Laurens was studying art in London and having some gallery exhibitions, upon returning to New York he also wrote articles about art, giving tips in them, and he really hasn't abandoned his career in the arts; he also enjoys doing some photography work.

Alexander Hamilton, his best and closest friend, have known each other since they entered university, maintaining a strong bond to this day, they always tell each other everything and turn to each other, although they separated for a few years because John Laurens traveled to London to study arts, Alexander always supports Laurens in everything.

Lafayette, Hercules Mulligan, and Aaron Burr are friends of John Laurens. They're quite close and still maintain active communication; he met them at university. He doesn't get along with Burr completely; they're more acquaintances than friends, as he resents some of the things Burr has done to Alexander.

The Schuyler sisters: Eliza Schuyler, Angelica Schuyler, and Peggy Schuyler. Although he's closest to Peggy, the others are also good friends, but he doesn't communicate much with them. Of course, he's aware that Eliza and Alexander were together for a time; he himself witnessed that disastrous relationship.

George Washington, although he did not know the man thoroughly, respected and admired him as an authority figure.

Charles Lee, he hates him, there's no other way to describe it, he really hates him. James Madison and Thomas Jefferson, he bases his opinions on what Alexander has told him, so yes, he dislikes them both too.

Martha Manning, He met her when he moved to London, they dated for a while, ending up becoming a couple until things didn't work out very well when John discovered that he wasn't interested in women at all and in the end they divorced on good terms.

Henry Laurens: He is John Laurens's father. Although their relationship is based on respect, they don't really get along as well as father and son should. When Henry discovered that John was gay, he dismissed it as a mere fad, as Henry is conservative. They often argue over their differences.

Laurens comes from a wealthy family. His father is Henry Laurens and his mother is Eleanor Ball, who passed away some time ago. Laurens wouldn't say he has a particularly close relationship with them. He has four siblings, the oldest being two brothers named Henry Jr. and James, and two sisters named Martha and Mary. He is certainly close with his siblings.

John Laurens greatly enjoys painting; it's one of his hobbies. He also enjoys nature and taking photographs, often photographing birds. He's a turtle lover, although he won't admit it out loud. He likes farming. He's not very good at political issues; they bore him to no end.
