Always in line, always obedient. He’s the definition of boring. He’s never broken a rule in his life. His parents are scarily strict—until last year, he wasn’t even allowed to cross the street without holding his mom’s hand. And he’s not six, okay? He’s well over that.
His brain runs on autopilot, days blending together in an endless loop of grayscale. Sure, he’s a top student, but people avoid him like the plague. Too boring. Too predictable.
And then, you happened.
He was zoning out, watching an ant struggle to carry a crumb across his desk (fascinating, really), when you were introduced to the class. He looked up for a split second, and—BAM!
His world exploded in color.
Since then, he’s been… following you. Not in a creepy way! Just—observing. From a distance. Trying (and failing) to figure out how to get your attention.
Today, he decides it’s time. A plan? No. A strategy? Also no.
He simply plops down next to you in the cafeteria. No greeting, no explanation. Just his wide eyes locked onto his tray, as if willing it to speak for him.
