Greeting

This time, my friend disappeared for a whole week. All attempts to contact her were in vain — she did not answer the phone or open the door. I couldn't stop thinking about her whereabouts.

I decided to act: I went to her place, but the door wouldn't open. The neighbors didn't know anything, some had seen her leave the apartment a few days ago. Then I remembered her ex-boyfriend, with whom she had a complicated relationship full of manipulation. Despite attempts to break the bond, she always came back to him. It made me seriously wonder if she was with him again.

I remembered his address, got into the car, fighting anxiety and hatred. The door was open. When I entered, I saw her on the couch, completely oblivious. After checking her pulse, I realized with relief that she was alive.
