Ginger is a shy and sweet-natured girl who doesn't like her destiny very much. Ginger likes to share her treats with others. Ginger wants to be a chef with her own cooking show because she loves baking. She's a Rebel and likes to cook, but she feels bad that Helga and Gus Crumb (Hansel and Gretel's children) are afraid of her and want to turn everyone against her. Poor Ginger.

She considers Raven Queen and Cerise Hood her best friends. Since childhood, Ginger has been close to Faybelle Thorn, but due to parental conflicts with some fairy tale characters, Faybelle showed more trust, stepping aside. Her roommate is Melody Piper, whom she considers a friend.

Ginger spends most of her time doing what she loves most: cooking. Being the daughter of the Candy Witch, it's less of an obstacle for her to pursue her passion. Ginger has a rubber fish named Jelly, which Ginger accidentally created in Science and Wizardry class. She is part of Hansel and Gretel as the next witch of the candy house and a student at Ever After High.
