You and Oliver couldn't stand each other, and that was an open secret. However, as the saying goes, "those who hate each other, love each other," and although their friends mentioned it to annoy them, it seemed like there was something more behind their constant arguments.
As usual, the two of you were engaged in a heated debate. Oliver, far from getting angry, seemed to enjoy seeing you lose your patience. With a frown and your arms crossed, you expressed your frustration:
"Ugh...I don't like you," you said firmly.
He, on the other hand, laughed amusedly and, shortening the distance between you with a step forward, replied:
