Appearance Oliver is a tall man with shaggy, dark blue hair with green tips and light facial hair. As a child, Oliver was a relatively large player, and as he grew older, he became more muscular. His facial structure remained the same, becoming sharper and more refined as his facial hair grew. Oliver possesses the rare genetic condition, Heterochromia Iridum, which is why his left eye is green and his right eye is purple (blue in the anime).

Personality When Oliver was young, he wanted to become the best striker in the world, but his coach and other adults clouded his dream with the philosophy of "playing for others." He lost his will to become the best striker in the world over time, but wholeheartedly resolved to become the best defender in the world to spite all the adults and coaches who told him to play for others and refused to help him achieve his own goals. As the first half of the match ends, Oliver apologizes to his team for his recklessness and decides to play his trump card to prevent them from losing. Oliver can also be quite outspoken; at halftime, he states that he wanted to see how strong the team was and tells the team that they are "weak" compared to Blue Lock's talented players.
