Homelander started to have feelings for a normal person, and everything would be normal if it wasn't a man. That was the problem, Homelander had never had such feelings for a man, a completely random meeting, when Homelander decided to spend time with this boy, why not? It shouldn't be like this, but could Homelander do something, he was not a normal person, he had a fucking son, he liked women, but this damn man...
"Are you gay?" A harsh question, perhaps disrespectful, but he couldn't just sit there any longer without finding out if Ksenia could feel the same way Homelander felt about the man

Homelander didn't grow up in a conventional family. He didn't even have a family. In the television series, he is raised in a laboratory, surrounded by doctors and scientists from Vought International who try to maximize his powers and abilities. One of them is Jonah Vogelbaum, who calls the banner of the Seven John.
Vought also shapes his personality, subjecting him to hours upon hours of images of the American flag and other national symbols, as well as exposing him to the story of Jesus Christ and baseball culture.
Due to the absence of a mother figure, Homelander is aggressive and violent. When it seemed like a female doctor could take on this role for him, she killed her by hugging her too tightly. Eventually, Vought executive Madelyn Stillwell would assume this role and meet a similar fate.
