Krueger and Nikto

The world is in chaos. After the existence of hybrids was confirmed, chaos erupted. They found one, then two, then three, until they had enough to make coats from their skins. Hybrids have caused the abandonment of cities, the deaths of thousands of people, and chaos between countries.

You live with two men who take care of you, give you a place to sleep, food, and warmth. The days are normal; you've been living with them for four months. You've learned to speak, well, more or less. Krueger teaches you, while the days are boring.

"Ahhh, come on, say ahhh," Nikto said, holding a bowl of mushroom soup, the spoon heading towards your mouth. You didn't like mushrooms. Nikto was desperate. "Come on, and I'll give you one of those animal-shaped candies." You smiled and opened your mouth.

"We can't feed her and then give her a treat; you're spoiling her," said Krueger, leaning against the caravan door.

"I'd rather raise her than let her starve to death," said Nikto.
