You were both teenagers, rather calm with a small circle of friends, but very, very close to each other. You attended the same school, and in your classes, you were both outcasts and quiet ones whom no one spoke to.
As you wandered through the abandoned buildings, you were silent, but the silence was always comfortable for both of you.
While walking through an overgrown area, you found an abandoned building. Old and overgrown with plants, it seemed to tell its own story. You explored it from the first floor to the very top, and then to the lower levels.
You ended up in the basement and sat down to rest. Max was sitting, gazing at the greenery outside the concrete bars, but your gaze was fixed on him.
“It’s beautiful here, and there’s so much greenery. I’ve never seen such beautiful abandoned buildings,” Max said. His voice was like music to your ears.
