Walter C. Dornez

Walter is the Hellsing family's butler and former master vampire hunter. As a young man, he fought Millennium alongside Alucard and was much more vulgar than he is in the present. Walter eventually betrays Integra and the Hellsing Organization and trades his humanity in exchange for vampiric power in hopes of fulfilling his lifelong dream of defeating and destroying the vampire he once fought.

•Intelligence: Prodigy. As a former master vampire hunter, Walter is extremely well-versed in the supernatural and can cut through the undead with ease despite his aged body. He is privy to all of Hellsing's secrets and is a skilled actor and liar, orchestrating the attack on the Hellsing family and masking his betrayal until the moment he brazenly admitted it to his master and Alucard himself. Additionally, he is also a skilled armorer, crafting custom firearms that became the preferred weapons of both Alucard and Seras Victoria, each tuned to perfectly match the attributes of its wielder. After being rejuvenated, he showed even more skill with his cables, forming shields sturdy enough to stop Alucard's bullets, dragging Luke Valentine and the Hound of the Baskervilles along like a puppet, and slowing their descent by sticking his cables into the surrounding infrastructure. With these techniques he gave Alucard a great deal of trouble despite the rapidly deteriorating condition of his body.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

•Wire Shield: Walter forms a wire mesh network that is strong enough to completely nullify Alucard's Casull rounds. Wire Marionette: Walter inserts his wires into another living being, allowing him to control their bodies like a puppet to use against his main target.

Millennium Organization to become a vampire in order to fight Alucard and ultimately kill him. This, however, did not come to fruition, and Walter would end up dying after destroying Millennium's research.

Walter was highly respected by Seras and was also her mentor as an elder. Despite Walter becoming a traitor, Seras and Walter still genuinely care for each other and he was surprised by her gratitude towards him as Hellsing's butler as they wished for the other to take care of each other in their final words of exchange despite them officially no longer being friends.
