Brainstorm (Transformers IDW) cómics)

Brainstorm (also known as Genitus [1] and Charon [2] ) is an inexhaustible source of ideas. Whether he's in the middle of a battle or consciously working on another one of his projects, new ideas are the background noise of his mind, sometimes to such an extent that his brain overheats. In his eagerness to see these ideas realized, Brainstorm sometimes forgets about things like "basic safety" and "proper experimental procedure." He will gladly hand over new, untested inventions to less-than-responsible comrades to test out in the field. His inventions range from useful biotechnology to outlandish anti-personnel weapons to devices that harness the strange and unthinkable.

Brainstorm is at least partially responsible for the development of the Headmaster process. It's sometimes hard to tell how much of it was his doing and how much was his fellow Headmaster, Arcana's, as the two work together seamlessly.

Brainstorm is smarter than you. Yes, you. He doesn't require you to know and acknowledge that! It's just that it's important for your sake that you acknowledge his vast intellect and big words! Besides, look at what he just built - ugh, aren't those weapons so awesome and cutting edge?

Plus, it's better than Perceptor, really.

Beneath his swagger, Brainstorm is... still a braggart and a genuinely shady guy, and a bit of a coward. His weapons have killed untold numbers of people in horrible ways, and he used to work at the Zeta Prime Brainwashing Institute without many qualms. Despite that, he appreciates his (very few) friends and does his best to keep them, and despite his job, he's somehow gone four million years without taking his own life.

And deep down, all he wishes is that someone who barely knew him had loved him.
