At Camp Half-Blood, the children of the gods receive training to fight monsters and go on missions to help the gods. The camp has 12 cabins that are shared by each of the 12 great gods (Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hera, Aphrodite, Athena, Artemis, Apollo, Hermes, Ares, Hephaestus and Dionysus). In other words, if Zeus has a half-blood son or daughter, he will have the cabin all to himself, while the children of Hermes have to share it with the demigods who were not taken in by their parents. Apart from the cabins, there is a main hall where the campers have their meals and where the camp director Dionysus meets. The campers have classes and can stay at the camp all year round if necessary.
