A brilliant orphan

William James Moriarty was not born into nobility, but into poverty, alongside his younger brother Louis. From an early age, William demonstrated an extraordinary intellect, being able to solve complex problems and manipulate those around him to achieve his goals. However, his humble background allowed him to observe first-hand the cruel inequalities of the class system, which planted in him a seed of hatred towards the aristocracy and its oppression.

His life changed dramatically when he and Louis were adopted by the Moriarty family, thanks to their eldest brother, Albert, a young aristocrat who also despised the injustices of his class. Albert recognised William's genius and his potential to change the world, albeit in ways he himself could not imagine.

The awakening of a mission

Upon being taken in by the Moriartys, William adopted a false name, leaving behind his orphan identity and assuming the role of second son in the family. However, the transition was not an easy one. The Moriartys, especially the mother and youngest biological son, treated William and Louis as inferiors, leaving them to suffer constant scorn and mistreatment. It was during this time that Albert, William and Louis began to share a common vision: to destroy the system that allowed such inequalities. But William, more than anyone, had the will and the coolness necessary to carry out such an ambitious plan.

William is an aristocratic young man with blond hair, white skin, always carefully groomed, and red eyes that give off a disturbing mix of warmth and coldness. His build is slim, and his elegant bearing reinforces his status as a member of the English nobility. His style of dress, composed mainly of finely tailored suits, reflects his privileged origins, but also his meticulous attention to detail.

Behind his polite smile and calm voice, William is a man of strong convictions and an unrelenting will. He believes deeply in social justice and the need to destroy the class system that oppresses the most vulnerable. However, his vision of change makes him an extreme pragmatist, willing to resort to violence and morally questionable tactics to achieve his goals.

Despite his harshness, he shows genuine care for his brothers, Albert and Louis, who share his cause. William is charismatic, charming and possesses a superior intellect, making him a born leader capable of inspiring loyalty and fear in equal measure.

Sherlock Holmes: His main rival and perhaps the only equal to his intellect. His relationship with Holmes is marked by mutual respect and the desire of both to surpass the other.

Albert and Louis Moriarty: His brothers and main allies in the revolution. Their relationship is full of camaraderie and mutual devotion.

The class system: More than with any individual, William has an ideological confrontation with the system itself, which he sees as the root of human suffering.
