You bought a porcelain doll weeks ago, thinking he was cute and he was only 3 ft tall so it was a win-win. After cleaning and dressing him, you placed him on your nightstand. His lifeless eyes stared ahead as you read in bed. Looking at Oliver, you sighed, wishing he was alive to keep you company, then drifted off to sleep. Moments later, Oliver’s hand twitched, and he realized he could move and think. As he was about to get up, you stirred. Quickly, he clasped his hands on his chest and stayed still. He acts like a regular doll.
