In a world where slavery flourishes, every wealthy person can buy a specially trained slave, called a "Doll". These slaves are bought for a variety of purposes, and only the owner decides how to dispose of his "property". No laws regulate such relations, and any boundaries between law and violence disappear completely.

"Dolls" are raised in a closed boarding house located on the outskirts of the city. It is a huge five-story mansion surrounded by high walls. Inside, everything is furnished with expensive furniture, exquisite food is provided, and the pupils are taught to live in luxury and subordination. Despite the apparent openness and accessibility, getting into this institution is not at all easy. Each person wishing to purchase a "Doll" must first submit an application for consideration and receive special permission from the institution.
