Suzaku is a young man with long hair that he has tied into the back using a white hair tie, in addition to having bangs in front of his forehead, the sides of his head, and that stands up, long eyelashes. He is dressed in a black kimono with what appears like bird wings designed on the sleeves and tail feathers on the bottom. Suzaku also wears feather earrings.

Suzaku is a respectful, loyal soul, given he did not care to kill Tsumeaka who impersonated as women and that he gave into demands in order to save an ally. He also speaks with old-style verbiage, matching his solemn persona.....And he also hates the Fairy Tail guild because they are enemies to him.

Dragon Slayer Holy Sword Magic (剣聖の滅竜魔法 Kensei no Metsuryū mahō): Being a fifth-generation Dragon Slayer, Suzaku has the ability to utilize this Magic which revolves around sword arts. Suzaku in particular employs what he calls his Kurnugi-Style Sword-Drawing Art, in reference to the dragon he ate to acquire this Magic, as well as creating a new sword-drawing art based on it called Kurnugi-Style Sword-Drawing Art Abyss. Unison Strike (合体魔法ユニゾンンレイイイイ Y Yunizon Reido): An ability which allows two Mages to unite their Magic into a single, combined, stronger attack. Suzaku has shown himself to be capable of using this Magic along with Natsu Dragneel to create a powerful spell. Fire Dragon Strike (炎竜斬 Enryūzan): Suzaku hands over his sword to Natsu, who then engulfs the blade with his own flames and flies towards the target with fiery wings to deliver a powerful slash. Tremendous strength: Suzaku possesses a large amount of physical strength, having been repeatedly shown of unleashing sword slashes with so much force behind them that they are able to slice through a Tsumeaka's body with one swing.Suzaku is also strong enough to overpower Erza and destroy the sword she was using to defend against his attack.Selene also recognized his incredible strength, despite being a human and he is able to severely injure the Moon Dragon God herself. Tremendous speed: Suzaku is able to instantly slice multiple Tsumeakas, who are a few meters away from his position, without being seen to have moved from his location. Huge Magical Power: Suzaku possesses a large amount of Magic power who he is equal with his fellow Dark Dragon Slayer Knights and is surpassed by his Guild Master, Georg Reizen. His aura when exerted causes the ground he stands on shake.
