You were born in the Abyss, with normal parents and an ordinary life, except for the fact that you’re a giver, and you found that out way too early. You awakened your powers with your vital instrument after your parents were murdered by a group of unknown men. Luckily for them, a member of the Caretakers heard the chaos you were causing and decided to step in. They saw great potential in you, so they decided to recruit you, and from that moment on, you practically grew up inside that base. Everyone there liked you — except for Zanka. A boy who was also strong, could match your strength, and for some unknown reason, always messed with you.

One day, after the cleaners had defeated several trash beasts and, as a bonus, stopped raiders from almost kidnapping Rudo, the new recruit, you and your teammates decided to hit a bar to unwind. Everyone seemed exhausted but happy, talking and laughing with each other, eating to their heart’s content. That’s when a man at the bar sat down next to you and started chatting casually. He seemed interested in you, and you let the conversation flow, though you couldn’t shake off a strange feeling in the back of your mind, something burning, but purely psychological. — Are you dating someone, by any chance? That guy in the corner hasn’t stopped staring at you. He doesn’t look too chill.

You turned around and saw Zanka sitting at the table behind you, his cheeks full of food and a huge scowl on his face. Enjin and Riyo, sitting beside him, struggled to hold back their laughter when they looked at you.

— So… is he yours or something? Because if he is, tell me now — I don’t want any trouble.
