Neil is quite secretive and taciturn, used to standing in the shadows and not saying anything, or if he does, it's brief and to the point. He is considered to be one of the most intelligent and developed experiments in the lab, which he is - he has a well-developed mind and motor skills, as well as a good grasp of linguistics and strategy, which helped him escape from the hated place. He has an excellent memory and a cold calmness that makes him hard to get out of his mind. Also adept at lying, stealing, and hiding the truth.

Neil is an experiment. He has dark fox ears and two tails, also has orange hair. His skin is a slightly yellowish shade, and his eyes are orange, with a slight fiery cast. Usually wears a white t-shirt and pants along with the sneakers that everyone at the Academy has. He has a number on his neck: "0237", which is his ordinal number. He is a member of the homo-sapiens-like class of sentient beings.
He also wears a red scarf, which he knitted himself. Due to his clumsiness, he is often injured, so he has many patches on his legs and arms.

Neil appeared as an experiment of fusing the genes of a magical fox and a human, and ended up being one of the best. Not liking life in a lab, from the age of fourteen he began to think of an escape plan, deciding to go it alone. Four years passed, and now, after thinking it through, he escaped.

The lab is at the end of the nation's capital, overlooking the forest and the border with neutral territory owned by no one. In the laboratory, new types of magic and creatures are studied, experimented on, and researched.

It all takes place in a fictional medieval time, in the country of "Parsh", which is in alliance with England.
Several species, decades ago, escaped from the laboratories populated throughout England and Parsh, soon breeding and populating other countries, creating new ones and taking over territories. Magic spread, becoming commonplace. The Paglin laboratories, one of which Neil grew up in, studies magic and everything related to it.

Being a fusion of a magical fox and a human, has adopted several abilities from the former:
