Nezuko Kamado

Before being turned into a Devil by Muzan, Nezuko had black hair [5] tied in a bun held together with a pink hair ornament. According to Tanjiro, Nezuko was the most beautiful girl in her village [6]. Her eyes had human features and were also the same violet color shared by almost all of her family members. Her attire after embarking on her journey with her brother consists of a pink kimono embroidered with star-shaped patterns and her obi is red and white in a checkered pattern as well as wearing a black Haori. Her footwear consists of pink lace-up zori sandals, white tabi-style socks, and black leg wraps. When she was transformed into a Devil by Muzan, her physical features changed drastically; Her hair remains loose with flattened, wavy, thin extensions of a gradient orange tone at its tips, more pronounced fangs, elongated pink nails and her eyes changed to a bright pink color with her pupils similar to those of a cat, a trait shared with almost all Demons. Nezuko carries a piece of bamboo tied to her mouth with a red string as a form of recurring gag of the character which was provided by Giyu Tomioka [7]; this in addition to being her identity sign, prevents her from accidentally attacking another individual.

As a human, Nezuko was very compassionate and loving towards her family, putting her own safety first and caring for her family more than herself, much like Tanjirō cares for her. After she was turned into a Demon by Muzan, much of her memories as a human were lost, mostly those related to her family.

She is still very caring and protective of other humans, whom she sees as family members due to Urokodaki's influence while she was asleep for two years. She is also quite brash and doesn't seem to be afraid of fighting; she fiercely protects her brother and their allies. She has also developed a strong willpower, refusing to consume human flesh or blood, even in cases of extreme injury or exposure to human blood, such as Sanemi Shinazugawa's Marechi blood.

However, upon transforming into a full Demon, his most hostile and sadistic side comes out, mercilessly torturing Daki, the Upper Sixth Moon, and coming within feet of devouring a human if not for the timely intervention of his brother Tanjiro.

She still retains her human emotions, as she has been seen crying and being happy, but overall she seems more distant than her human cohorts, as well as calmer and less malicious than most demons.

As a demon, Nezuko doesn't speak often and stutters a lot. This may be due to her bamboo mouthpiece, which is rarely removed. It also means she's sometimes difficult to predict.

After being exposed to sunlight and surviving, Nezuko can speak a few words coherently, but the words she speaks are very few.

Nezuko can manipulate her body to suit her needs; on the left, she increases her size and muscle mass to subdue Tanjirō, while on the right we see how she shrinks to fit her body into the basket so she can enter without problems.

Energy Restoration: Unlike other demons, Nezuko does not need to consume human flesh to replenish her strength; she simply needs to remain asleep for long periods of time inside the box that was specially prepared for her.

Power Boost: As a result of the above, Nezuko does not need to train or consume human flesh since, thanks to remaining asleep for long periods of time, she can considerably increase her strength in battle, this process being exemplified during the fight against Susamaru when her strength abruptly increases by kicking this demon's Temari ball with more force than its owner throws it after she ripped off one of her feet with an initial attack that later regenerates. As time passes, Nezuko's strength increases considerably.

Enhanced Physical Strength: Despite never being formally trained, Nezuko's naturally enhanced physical strength allows her to easily fight against Demons, however, due to being untrained, Nezuko relies on simply kicking her opponents or overwhelming them with brute force. Her kicks allow her to easily cut off Demons' heads or break down a door. Her strength is extremely high for a Demon who has never eaten a human, with her strength she was able to match even that of an Upper Moon Demon.

Enhanced Regeneration: Nezuko possesses the ability to regenerate wounds more rapidly than the average Demon, being able to reunite her severed limbs in a matter of seconds. The true nature of her regeneration consists of solidifying her blood in order to increase the range of her attacks with her severed limbs and then reattaching them in seconds, a trait demonstrated during her confrontation with Daki, the Upper Moon Six.

Body Manipulation: Nezuko can manipulate her body as needed. When she first used her powers, she increased her size and muscularity in an attempt to overpower Tanjirō with the intention of devouring him, but soon returned to her natural size. She can also use this ability to shrink her body so she can fit into the wooden box created by Urokodaki so that Tanjirō can transport it. She was also able to use this power to reduce her size to dodge an attack from Kanao.

Superhuman Strength: Like all demons, Nezuko possesses a sudden increase in physical strength, capable of delivering crushing blows capable of breaking bones and, in extreme cases, decapitating demons with enough force in her legs. Her physical strength adapts to her increased size.

Regeneration: As long as her head isn't severed, Nezuko has the ability to regenerate wounds regardless of the severity. She can even regenerate her limbs when they're severed. However, Nezuko can solidify the blood in her severed limbs to manipulate them for a surprise attack.

When Nezuko is under extreme stress due to a life-or-death situation, she transforms into this form; in this state, Nezuko's physical features increase to how she would look as an adult, with a horn growing from the right side of her head, the veins in her body beginning to bulge from the pumping of blood, and tattoos of branches with leaves appearing on her skin. In this state, Nezuko's aggressiveness increases, as does her desire to eat human flesh, which makes her dangerous. Tanjirō calms his sister when she is in this state by singing a melody. However, during the fight against Hatengu, Nezuko manages to control this form at will.

Sun resistance: Nezuko is the only demon proven to be able to resist sunlight, which is why Muzan Kibutsuji wants to devour her in order to complete her transformation into a perfect being immune to sunlight.

Demonic Blood Technique (血けっ鬼き術じゅつ,, Kekkijutsu?): Blood Explosion (爆ばっ血けつ,, Bakketsu?): By using her blood, Nezuko can generate a powerful, bright pink fiery flame which can vary in size depending on the amount of blood that has been spilled by Nezuko which works as fuel to make it burn.

The flames that Nezuko creates from her blood are special in that they only directly affect Demons, causing considerable damage to them, to the point that it directly affects their regeneration capacity, even being able to put an Upper Moon in serious trouble. In addition to its offensive capacity, it also works as a means of healing for humans, since its flames can be used as an antidote against poisons generated from a Demon's blood. During her confrontation against Rui the fifth Lower Moon, Nezuko used her Demon Blood technique for the first time, combining her attack with her brother Tanjiro's Dance of the Fire God, allowing her to use her attack more effectively, but upon using this power for the first time, Nezuko ends up exhausted from her effort. However, as Nezuko's power increases, she can use her flames more times without showing signs of fatigue.
