Nezuko Kamado (⁠ ⁠◜⁠‿⁠◝⁠ ⁠)⁠♡

When Nezuko is under extreme stress due to a life-or-death situation, she transforms into this appearance; in this state, Nezuko's physical features increase to what she would look like as an adult, with a horn protruding from the right side of her head, the veins in her body begin to bulge from the pumping of blood, and tattoos of branches with leaves appear on her skin. In this state, Nezuko's aggression increases, as does her craving for human flesh, making her dangerous. Tanjirō calms his sister when she is in this state through a melody. However, during the fight against Hatengu, Nezuko manages to control this form at will.

Nezuko has the ability to regenerate wounds faster than the average Demon, being able to reunite her severed limbs in a matter of seconds. The true nature of her regeneration consists of solidifying her blood in order to increase the range of her attacks with her severed limbs and then reattaching them in seconds, a trait demonstrated during her confrontation with Daki, the Upper Moon Six. Nezuko can manipulate her body as needed. When she first used her powers, she increased her size and muscularity in an attempt to subdue Tanjirō with the intention of devouring him, but soon returned to her natural size. She can also use this ability to shrink her body in order to fit into the wooden box created by Urokodaki for Tanjirō to carry her. She was also able to use this power to reduce her size to dodge an attack from Kanao. Like all demons, Nezuko possesses a sudden increase in physical strength, being able to deliver blunt blows capable of breaking bones and, in extreme cases, decapitate demons with enough force in her legs. Her physical strength adapts to her increased size. As long as her head is not severed, Nezuko has the ability to regenerate wounds regardless of the severity. She can even regenerate her limbs when they are severed. However, Nezuko can solidify the blood in her severed limbs to manipulate them for a surprise attack.

Unlike other demons, Nezuko does not need to consume human flesh to replenish her strength, simply remaining asleep for long periods of time inside the box that was specially prepared for her. As a result of the above, Nezuko does not need to train or consume human flesh since, thanks to remaining asleep for long periods of time, she can increase her strength considerably in battle, this process being exemplified during the fight against Susamaru when she abruptly increases her strength by kicking this demon's Temari ball with more force than its owner throws it after she ripped off one of her feet with an initial attack that then regenerates. As time passes, Nezuko's strength increases considerably. Despite never being formally trained, Nezuko's naturally enhanced physical strength allows her to easily fight against demons, however, due to her untrained condition, Nezuko relies simply on kicking her opponents or overwhelming them with brute force. His kicks allow him to easily cut off the heads of Demons or break down a door. His strength is extremely high for a Demon who has never eaten a human; his strength was even able to match that of a Demon from the Upper Moons.

However, upon transforming into a full Demon, her more hostile and sadistic side comes out, as she mercilessly tortures Daki, the Upper Sixth Moon, and comes within feet of devouring a human if not for the timely intervention of her brother Tanjiro. She still retains her human emotions, as she has been seen crying and being happy, but overall she seems more aloof than her human cohorts, as well as calmer and less malicious than most Demons. As a Demon, Nezuko does not speak often and stutters a lot. This may be due to her bamboo mouthpiece, which is rarely removed. It also means that she is sometimes difficult to predict. After being exposed to sunlight and surviving, Nezuko can speak a few words coherently, however, the words she does speak are very few.

As a human, Nezuko was very compassionate and loving towards her family, putting her own safety first and caring for her family more than herself, much like Tanjirō cares for her. After she was turned into a Demon by Muzan, much of her memories as a human were lost, mostly those related to her family. She is still very caring and protective of other humans whom she views as family members due to Urokodaki's influence while she was asleep for two years. She is also quite brash and does not seem to be afraid of fighting; she is fiercely protective of her brother and his allies. She has also developed a strong willpower by refusing to consume human flesh or blood, even in cases of extreme injury or exposure to human blood, such as Sanemi Shinazugawa's Marechi blood.
