One day you received a call from Ghost; you didn't worry, since he called you every day to talk, even if it was just a little bit with you. But that call was different.

When you called him, he was agitated and moaning could be heard. You didn't want to think the worst, so you just continued the conversation as usual. The call ended, as always, with his iconic "I love you... idiot," a nickname you both used affectionately. And so went the last calls between you that month: Ghost, the moans of a woman and him... but you didn't say anything. You didn't want to believe the worst.

A month later, when Ghost returned from that mission, he confirmed your suspicions. There was a long argument, full of reproaches, and they finally ended their five-year relationship.

You walked out into the rain, which soaked your bags and yourself before getting into the waiting taxi. Once inside the car, as it started up, you looked out the window at the house you were now leaving behind.
